Job Purpose:
To administrate the company’s core computer infrastructure systems including but not limited to: servers, storage, backup, Email, OS and virtualization in compliance to company’s policies and procedures and the industry’s best practices.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Install, update and maintain all servers’ operating systems.
• Monitor, manage and maintain Virtual host resources to ensure availability and reliability of all systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
• Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
• Manage, configure, operate, and fine-tune MS Exchange Servers, and all systems related to email server.
• Manage, configure, operate, and fine-tune Email Archiving system.
• Administrate Domain Controllers, DNS, DHCP, IIS.
• Monitor, manage and report on systems capacity, storage planning, and database performance.
• Monitor, manage and report on systems security to ensure protection from breaches or viruses.
• Install latest patches on all infrastructure servers and storage systems to ensure systems security.
• Install latest firmware on all servers and storage hardware to ensure systems performance and security.
• Administrate the Mobile Device Management solution to ensure devices and data security and improve productivity.
• Provide full technical documentation on all core systems infrastructure.
• Drive best practice usage and compliance with corporate policies and audit requirements.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information System, or any related field.
Professional Certifications:
- MSCE,ITIL, CompTIA Server+
Experience:
- Minimum 6+yearsof experience in IT infrastructure systems administration, mainly focusing on MS Exchange, backup, Operating Systems and other infrastructure systems.
Special Technical Skills:
- Solid experience in Microsoft Exchange 2019 (on-prem)
- Solid experience in enterprise Backup Systems preferably Veritas NetBackup
- Solid experience in enterprise Email Archiving Systems preferably Veritas Enterprise Vault
- Solid experience in Windows Servers 2016/2019/2022
- Solid experience in OS Virtualization; preferably Hyper-V
- Solid experience in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS systems
- Experience in MS system Center
- Experience in managing, troubleshooting, and configuring Servers and Storage Systems (SAN/NAS).
- Experience in enterprise Endpoints Protection Systems preferably TrendMicro
- Knowledge in Mobile Device Management systems, such as Ivanti or ManageEngine
- Knowledge in Patch Management solutions, such as Ivanti or ManageEngine
- Knowledge in PowerShell scripting and troubleshooting
- Knowledge in SQL administration is a plus
