An international maritime and offshore company based in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer to supervise the application support team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides primary technical support maintenance, and enhancement of ERP solutions including D365, Plant Management Systems, Contract Management Solutions, and Crewing Solutions. ensuring they meet business requirements.
- Demonstrates understanding of core business processes within the supported functional areas, enabling effective translation of business requirements into technical solutions.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT colleagues, and external partners to understand needs, coordinate activities, manage expectations, and provide timely progress updates.
- Actively participate in ERP implementation and upgrade projects, providing expert support and guidance.
- Lead the application support team, providing guidance, supervision, and mentorship to ensure high levels of performance and job satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in application support or system administration, with a strong focus on ERP systems like Dynamics 365.
- Proven experience in supervising and leading technical teams.
- Preferably with Certifications in Dynamics 365 or other ERP systems.
- Experience in cloud computing platforms, such as Azure.
- Must have experience with Marine PMS systems.
