KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support primarily Abu Dhabi office users, remote working users and visitors as well as resolve technical issues.
  • Installing and configuring computers (Thin clients, VDIs, WVDs, Laptops and physical machines).
  • Picking up requests/calls and help resolving issues over phone, following up with users.
  • Responding in a timely manner to requests and incidents.
  • Providing technical support across the company (Physically and remotely).
  • Setting up accounts for new users.
  • Office 365 management.
  • Frequently check the ticketing system – Service desk portal for incoming requests; vet requests thoroughly, then evaluate and route them to the corresponding team.
  • Responsible for IT Asset management inventory (software, hardware, and stock upkeep) for Abu Dhabi office.
  • Responsible for the support and regular maintenance of Abu Dhabi telephony system and voice recording.
  • Maintain a virus free and secured network by ensuring that all machines are installed and updated with Antivirus software and patterns.
  • Maintaining, Monitoring and Conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
  • Follow ITIL Service Management Practices and adhere to relevant procedures and tools for the same.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Line Manager.

  • 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Time Management.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Resilient, driven and ambitious.
  • Willing to participate and work on weekends as needed.
