We have a new opportunity available for a Network and Security Specialist to be based in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities:
- Involvement: Participate in designing, planning, and implementing new projects to ensure high availability and performance.
- Support: Provide Tier 2 operational support, responding to incidents, service requests, and tasks on a daily basis.
- Optimization: Maximize network performance by monitoring, identifying, and resolving issues, suggesting improvements.
- Security: Secure network systems by establishing policies, monitoring access, and enforcing security measures.
- and Monitoring: Report operational network status, prioritize information, and conduct infrastructure health checks to minimize downtime.
- Load Balancer Management: Monitor and manage F5 load balancer for optimal performance.
- Administration: Administer various network components in data centers, office networks, or campuses.
- Availability: Proactively ensure high levels of system and infrastructure availability.
- Reporting: Write technical reports and propose system security enhancements.
Qualifications:
- minimum of 7 years of experience in Network and security.
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or High School Diploma and solid related work experience
- Advanced knowledge of General Networking (TCP/IP, OSI Model, Subnetting, common protocols like DNS, NTP, ICMP, IPv4/IPv6).
- Advanced level experience with IPSEC and/or GRE protocols.
- Advanced experience with perimeter security solutions such as IPS/IDS, Web Proxy, and Next-Generation Firewalls: Implementation, optimization, and troubleshooting of application-aware policies.
- Advanced level experience with multi-factor authentication, vulnerability management, network access control, identity management, privileged access management, web and email security, antivirus, EDR/NDR/XDR, and endpoint security.

- Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSA, or PCNSE)
- LTM and ASM
- Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Net+ or CompTIA Sec+
- Management Professional (PMP)
- v3 Foundation or higher
