Job Description:
AMJ Technology Solutions, a leading innovator in IT and security solutions based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is actively seeking an accomplished IT Network Engineer. This crucial position entails the deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of a broad spectrum of IT solutions, maintaining the highest standards of security, efficiency, and reliability. The successful candidate will significantly contribute to our mission of delivering state-of-the-art technology solutions to a diverse clientele.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive IT solutions, including hardware configurations (laptops, mini PCs), software management, PABX systems, CCTV, IP video surveillance, and access control systems.
- Manage and optimize Microsoft licenses, network infrastructure (gate barriers, firewalls, servers), and office peripherals (printers, toners, ink cartridges).
- Custom develop end-to-end IT solutions for home and office automation, tailored to specific client needs.
- Conduct systematic audits and updates of IT systems to comply with the latest security protocols and business requirements.
- Provide expert technical support and maintenance services under IT annual maintenance contracts to ensure customer satisfaction and system integrity.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate new technologies and enhance operational efficiencies.
- Document IT procedures, configurations, and inventories meticulously for effective management and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT engineer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful IT and telecom solution implementations.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, systems administration, and security best practices.
- Proficiency in operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and MacOS, and familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of cloud services and deployments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Relevant professional certifications, such as CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), are highly regarded.
Work Hours and Benefits:
8:30 am to 5:30 pm GST Monday to Saturday.
