Your Responsibilities
As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect an organization’s network infrastructure from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Design, Develop and implement network security architectures, policies, and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and resources.
- Configure and manage firewall devices to control and monitor incoming and outgoing network traffic, preventing unauthorized access and filtering potential threats.
- Deploy and maintain intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS) to detect and respond to suspicious activities and potential security breaches.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify weaknesses in the network infrastructure and prioritize remediation efforts.
- Implement and enforce access control policies and procedures, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to specific network resources.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA Security, CCNP Security, CISSP, or CISA are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
- Proficiency in firewall configuration and management.
- Experience with network security technologies and tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing threat landscape.
