IT Administrator

Full job description

  • Assist end-users, either remotely or in person, with personal computer maintenance, troubleshooting, and management for all Trasna Group Companies
  • Support internal workstations
  • Manage and build computer systems from the ground up including hard disk set up, network interface card
  • Troubleshoot problems related to computer; researches/evaluates/implements new hardware and software for user workstations configuration, OS and other application installation and configuring the system for use
  • Construct special purpose computer equipment for Testing

Network and System Support:

  • Daily backup and restore of the Trasna group Data.
  • Backup of assigned servers as required; utilize a variety of electronic testing equipment; aligns, adjust and calibrate equipment in accordance with specifications
  • Execute backup and recover strategy
  • Implement disaster recovery plan as planned with line manager
  • Supplier & purchasing management (i.e. quotations)
  • Perform skilled maintenance and repair of computers and a variety of related equipment and variety of electronic testing equipment; aligns, adjust and calibrate equipment in accordance with specifications.
  • Assist the Senior IT Administrator to manage the Local Area Network (LAN)
  • Assist in the design, plan and implement and testing phase of computer systems and networks
  • Assist in building Server systems and Network infrastructure
  • Assist the Senior IT Administrator and the IT Manager on the server systems
  • Provide evaluation and acceptance testing of third-party installations coordinating with the Project Teams
  • Maintain an understanding of all aspects of data storage on hard disks and ability to recover both network and systems from hard disk crashes with minimal data loss
  • Retrieve lost data from media after accidental deletion or disk crash utilizing appropriate utilities
  • Manages all IT Assets (hardware and software)
  • In conjunction with technology coordinators, evaluate hardware and software, and help coordinate software licenses and inventories; provide guidance and support to sites in creating and maintain the Trasna Information Systems
  • Maintenance and administration of users accounts, mail system, FTP / SFTP accounts and VPN accounts.
  • Maintenance and administration of peripherals (printers, fax-servers), network equipment (firewall, switch, cabling etc.), Cloud and on-premise systems and services
  • Maintenance and administration of SIM secure and RSP network systems and services.
  • Maintenance and administration of OTA systems and services
  • Follow the policy and procedures and maintain the system and network to comply with SAS UP, SAS SM and ISO 27001, TAPA certifications.
  • Complete the Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Tests according to the schedule and apply the proper measures if there any gap found in the Network, equipment, systems and services.
