The role ensures that all IT service operation activities remain within the agreed service levels and minimize the adverse impact as well as ensuring incidents are resolved.
Engineering System Support Officer

Assistance in implementations, and maintenance of Engineering Systems updates, including producing user guides and arrange training on required systems and applications.

Work with the company’s helpdesk on assigned problem/tickets.
Collaborate with network administrators to ensure efficient operation of the company’s desktop computing environment.
Install and support Desktops, Laptops, and other desktop applications.
Provide support in accessing and utilising peripheral devices, including printers, copiers, and scanners.
Provide active support to the users on Microsoft office suite.
Support Active Directory and ensure it maintained with up-to-date user profile.
Add and Remove users, provide, and remove permissions in the Shared Drive.
Install hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives on user’s premises.
Loads specified software packages such as Operating Systems, Drivers, Microsoft Applications, and all other software that the employee needs for job.
Recover lost data of users using recovery tools.
Responds to Employee inquiries concerning systems operation and diagnoses system hardware, software, and operator problems either on-site or remote.
Field Engineer L2
The Field Engineer will be expected to travel to multiple customers at multiple sites as needed for support, dispatch and backfill purposes. The Field Engineer ensures that a company’s computer systems work effectively for streamlined operations. They install computer hardware and software, update applications and perform diagnostic tests and maintenance on computer components. They help people resolve network, hardware and software issues. Depending on their specialisation and employment requirements, Field Engineers can work as full-time within a company and offer technical support and require to work overtime and weekends to suite the Company and Customer needs. Site Visit Reports will be submitted to the management team once the site visit is complete. The Field Engineer will need to keep record of his hours using our internal company application software, which must be submitted daily for approval.
IT Field Technician
We are currently seeking IT Field Technicians to join our team and support our restaurant and Cloud Kitchen Operations in maintaining their Point-of-Sale (POS), printers, networks, CCTV systems, laptops, and other peripherals.
Responsibilities
- On-Site Support: Provide on-site technical support for restaurant, Cloud Kitchens, including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of POS systems, printers, networks, CCTV cameras, laptops, and other IT equipment.
- Routine Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure the smooth functioning of IT systems and equipment in restaurants.
- Installation and Configuration: Install and configure new hardware and software components, including POS terminals, printers, network devices, and CCTV cameras, according to the operational need.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by restaurant staff promptly and efficiently to minimize downtime and disruption to operations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, installations, and maintenance activities performed at each restaurant location.
- Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with restaurant managers and staff to understand their IT requirements, provide technical assistance, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to restaurant staff on the use of IT systems and equipment, including POS terminals and software applications.
Technical Supervisor
Apt Resources is excited to announce an opening for a Technical Supervisor specializing in Digital Out of Home (DOOH) and Out of Home (OOH) advertising in Dubai, UAE. This dynamic role requires someone who is an experienced electrician who would oversee the technical operations of digital advertising screens and traditional outdoor advertising platforms to ensure optimal performance and reliability. You will be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards in advertising technology and collaborating closely with various teams to enhance campaign delivery and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of DOOH and OOH advertising systems.
- Ensure all hardware and software are functioning properly and efficiently for advertising campaigns.
- Collaborate with the creative and sales teams to plan for new installations and upgrades.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of all technical reports, maintenance logs, and project updates.
- Monitor performance metrics of advertising displays and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Effectively utilize MS Office Suite for all documentation, reporting, and communication needs.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and staff on best practices for system maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations related to outdoor advertising.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the DOOH and OOH advertising industry.
Technical Support Engineer – Devices (Middle East)
The role reports directly into the Technical Manager, Devices. The success of the role is measured by meeting the service level commitment, exceeding the target for net promoter score and supporting the team to meet the sales target.
Qualifications
- Should be Degree qualified in an appropriate field of expertise such as Engineering or Technology, or have proven relevant experience
- Minimum of three years technical experience in industrial products – ideally working for multi-national companies
- Minimum of one year experience with industrial digital automation applications. Ideally with experience of Ethernet switches, fieldbus and digital phone systems
- Having analytical mindset is essential
- Experience in troubleshooting in a process plant (refinery, chemical site, etc)
- Experience in troubleshooting electronics as electronic devices in process control (control systems, remote I/O, or field instruments such as valves, temperature/pressure/flow measurement transmitters)
- Knowledge in explosion protection techniques (Ex d, i, o, p, etc), best if familiar with intrinsic safety
