Technical Customer Support Specialist
Key Responsibilities
Individual:
- Provide timely, consistent, and best-in-class customer support via telephone, email, chat, and any future channel and communicate proactively with customers using clear, professional, and effective communication
- Support customers with using Embed supported hardware and software and troubleshooting incidents and requests related to the Embed Card System, i.e., Card Readers, POS, Kiosks, emONEs, peripherals, etc.
- Lead by example and adhere to prescribed departmental procedures and provide support in a consistent and similar manner in handling customers’ incidents and requests
- Investigate, replicate, validate, and troubleshoot incidents raised by customers and create, update, escalate, and document tickets with the prescribed ticket logging policies and procedures
- Triage inbound customer requests, prioritize tickets in the queue, and solve tickets accordingly
- Partner with Support team members on the escalation of hardware and software bugs, product enhancements, customer change requests, and root cause categories
- Leverage approved internal knowledge base articles to deliver up to date service to our customers
- Partner with Training team members to create and update technical procedures and knowledge base articles
- Maintain up-to-date awareness in the latest hardware and software applications and share ideas with Support team leaders to improve performance, reliability, and functionality of our products and services
- Responsible for self-developing skills and technical knowledge on existing and new products and features
End User Support Specialist
The End User Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring seamless IT support for the Mega DC Warehouse’s daily operations. The role includes managing warehouse-specific devices (e.g., PDTs, printers, scanners), maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring the uptime of critical systems. This position requires hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting
- Provide Level 1/2 support for IT hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, and handheld devices (PDTs).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with wireless access points, barcode scanners, and printers in the warehouse.
- Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows-based operating systems and applications.
- Monitor and maintain connectivity in key areas, such as automated and manual zones within the warehouse.

- Hardware & Software Troubleshooting:

- Use SolarWinds and Dynatrace for endpoint performance and health analysis.
- Incident Management & Resolution:
- Log all incidents in ServiceNow, categorize by priority, and resolve or escalate as required.
- Track open incidents for timely resolution.
- Keep users informed about status and resolution steps.
- User Account & Access Management:
- Support user account setup, password resets, and VPN or network access.
- Use Nexthink for endpoint activity and usage analytics.
- Documentation & User Training:
- Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions for internal knowledge sharing.
- Educate users on best practices for using their devices and common issues.
