Role Description
– Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
– Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
– Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests
– Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
– Liaise with the ICT services provider, other third-party contractors and IT Vendors across The Group as required
– Setting up and assign the permission level for new users
– Maintaining VMs and on prem servers
– Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
– Ensure that systems stay secure, technology support is available, and that updates are made as needed
– Ensure that network access privileges, applications, data storage and regular backups are configured and maintained
– Implement and update a data disaster recovery plan (back up)
– Schedule computer related services, maintenance, and license renewals
– Ensure installation and maintenance of protection services (anti-viruses and firewalls)
– Plan network upgrades, expansions, and replacements
– Implement complete IT Infra for new Branch with Effective Network Topology
– Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
– Reporting and Documentation
– Perform other task assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong technical support and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with desktop computers and information technology
- Ability to provide help desk support
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of network infrastructure
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Certifications or relevant degrees in IT or related fields are a plus
Bachelor’s Degree in IT-related field (Computer Science, Computer Networking, Programming, and Information Systems)
Salary Package: AED 4,000-4,500 all inclusive (Visa and Insurance provided by the company).
Vacation Leave: Paid leave yearly vacation after completion of 1 year (No Airfare Ticket).
