SAP Implementation Specialist

Job Purpose:

To provide support and advise to the Company Management in SAP implementation (migration to a new ERP) by identifying industry leading business processes, performing Gap analysis and closure with business GM’s the to be process basis ERP capabilities and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SAP – ERP Migration process mapping to ensure comprehensive evaluation to existing process.
  • Mapping Existing business processes along with relevant Finance Managers/Business General Managers.
  • Identifying industry leading business processes, performing Gap analysis and closure with business GM’s the to be process basis ERP capabilities and business requirements.
  • Leading overall project planning and planning related contract management activities for Operations Department and critical projects from start till completion.
  • Planning and scheduling of all relevant scope in projects using systems as per the contract requirement after study of project scope, coordinating between clients and internal departments to accomplish works as per schedule.
  • Data Sanitization for the purpose of ERP Migration.
  • Incorporating Business requirements and stress testing UAT scenarios to be tested for comprehensive UAT parameter definition.
  • Validation of User Acceptance Testing against scenarios and scripts to ensure the Functional “to be” processes are being delivered, highlighting gaps and/or defects.
  • Use knowledge of “as is” and “to be” to identify change in user role profiling and determining future roles.
  • Ensures “to be” processes are incorporated into the training materials and signs off on same.
  • Writes quality standard operating procedures to enable the effective handover from Program to Business.
  • Supports the Cutover Lead with Business Cutover planning but identifying activities for their area including identification of ‘First offs’ relating to new processes and functionality.
  • Clarifying on the amends made to business processes post implementation.
  • Handholding system users and performing ad hoc gap fulfillments post go live.
  • Presenting project progress reports in periodical meeting to CXOs, Project head.

Education

  • Qualified CA.
  • SAP implementation in relevant industries a must.
  • SAP Certifications
  • ISA, DISA

Skills

  • Business Process Mapping and Transformation experience while SAP implementation is a must.
  • Broad and deep functional knowledge within respective functional area.
  • Deep Functional understanding of various business processes inSAP.

Experience:

  • Prior ERPSAP implementation experience is a must.
  • Highly experienced in a relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrable experience of key end to end processes mapping with abundant clarity in the relevant disciplines.

  • Confident and able to present to mixed stakeholders including senior leaders to deliver key messages and support change management.
  • Experience of supporting training to embed concept and functional processes in their current or previous roles.
  • Good customer service skills to engage and interact with key stakeholders and end users confidently and articulately.
  • Able to be both detailed in their relevant discipline and show an understanding of “big picture” thinking.
