Key Responsibilities:
\u2022 Plan, design, test, deploy, and optimize network and telecom systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS, IP phones, PBX, video conferencing, webinars, instant messaging, and file sharing.
\u2022 Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and primary point of contact for network and telecom-related issues, providing timely and effective support to users.
\u2022 Manage Cisco networking solutions (routing & switching) and Cisco Voice, telephony, and collaboration solutions, including third-party integrations for billing and recording.
\u2022 Work with vendors and IT teams to coordinate and implement network and telecom projects aligned with business needs.
\u2022 Troubleshoot and resolve network and telecom issues affecting business communication and collaboration tools.
\u2022 Research and evaluate new network and telecom technologies, making recommendations based on feasibility, cost-benefit analysis, and best practices.
\u2022 Develop and maintain network and telecom documentation, policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
\u2022 Implement best security practices to maintain and enhance network security posture.
\u2022 Follow ITIL standards and ensure proper system maintenance, due diligence, and due care.
\u2022 Utilize network monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, and PRTG for performance optimization.<\/p>\n\n\n\nRequirements:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
\u2022 Relevant experience as a Network Engineer specializing in IP Telephony implementations and support.
\u2022 Infrastructure certifications in Cisco Systems Solutions (CCNP or equivalent preferred).
Experience & Technical Skills:
\u2022 5-8 years of experience in data and voice communication engineering in complex environments.
\u2022 Strong expertise in network and telecom protocols, including IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS, SIP, and RTP.
\u2022 Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, Session Border Controllers, Billing, and Recording Software.
\u2022 Experience with network and telecom monitoring tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, and PRTG.
\u2022 Familiarity with administration tools such as Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Zoom Admin Portal, and Webex Control Hub.
